Value the assets
Review equipment identity, specification, condition and component life against the agreed valuation bases.
Our work / Mining & resources
An anonymised mining-fleet example: connecting asset records, component history and equipment expertise to valuation and emissions reporting.
Qualitative portfolio summary · Institutions and assets anonymised
The starting point
The asset register held equipment descriptions, meter readings, financiers and sites. Fuel records and a telematics feed were not available.
The task was to establish a clearer view of asset value and utilisation, and identify which reporting inputs the available records could support.
How we handle evidencePortfolio review
The work
Review equipment identity, specification, condition and component life against the agreed valuation bases.
Use component change-out history to derive operating run rates, retaining the source records and limitations.
Connect activity evidence with available equipment fuel-rate sources. Distinguish sourced inputs, calibrated estimates and exclusions.
The outcome
This summary describes the approach used in an anonymised portfolio. The sample pack shown is illustrative. It is not an audit or assurance opinion, or a certification of PCAF compliance.
