Asset valuation
Plant and equipment valuation
Asset valuation for banks, equipment financiers and companies, from single machines to entire fleets. Our team has experience valuing some of Australia’s largest equipment fleets.
Machines, fleets and portfolios
We specialise in data modelling for large-scale valuations for banks and companies. Each valuation is built at the level of the individual machine and consolidated by asset class, site, fleet or portfolio.
The same model supports a single machine, a fleet of several hundred assets or a lender’s equipment book. Each machine retains its own identity, evidence and assumptions in the consolidated result.
Market evidence
Valuations are supported by an extensive database of asset sales. We have built technology to track asset pricing in real time and analyse market movements and indexation across individual machines, asset classes and entire portfolios.

Client deliverables
- Asset-level valuations and consolidated fleet reporting
- Valuation models supported by asset-sales evidence
- Market movement and indexation analysis
- Documented valuation basis, date, inputs and assumptions
Valuation and financed emissions
Lenders reporting financed emissions need each asset’s value at loan origination, and the value used can materially affect the share they report. Where loan records do not hold it, our sales evidence for the same make, model and year supports an estimate on the date required.
Locations
We value plant and equipment located across Australia and in New Zealand.
Common questions
Questions and answers
- What do you need to start a valuation?
- An asset register extract with the asset descriptions, make, model, serial number, year, hours or odometer and location where held, together with the purpose and effective date of the valuation.
- Do you inspect every machine?
- Inspections are included where the agreed scope requires them. For large fleets, the scope sets which assets are inspected and which are valued from records and market evidence.
- Which sales do you use as evidence?
- Completed sales for the same make, model, year and usage bracket, from Australia first, then New Zealand, then other markets. Asking prices are recorded separately from completed sales.
- Can you value a whole loan book or fleet?
- Yes. Our valuation models are built for large registers. Each machine is valued individually and the results are consolidated by asset class, site, fleet or portfolio.
